Description:

Created for both sides of the web coin, DIBI brings together designers and developers for an unusual two-track web conference. World renowned speakers leading in their fields of work will talk about all things web.

Taking place in Newcastle upon Tyne, (it’s oop north) at The Sage Gateshead on the 28th April 2010, we’re bringing both sides of the web world together with some awesome speakers.

The DIBI audience will consist of a range of web practitioners, with job titles including;

- Technical/Creative Director
- Web Developers/Designer
- Senior Developer/Designer
- Project Manager
- Usability Experience/Information Architect

Attendees will form part of the DIBI 350, a select group of professionals who manage to get a ticket to one of the most awaited conferences in Northern England. We have interest as far afield as South America and South Africa with one third of tickets already taken.

There will be a total of 13 speakers, 6 on each side + 1 Keynote.

On the design side we’ve confirmed Adii Pienaar of WooThemes, Andrew Wilkinson of Metalab, Tim Van Damme, Andy Clarke, Jina Bolton and Sarah Parmenter.

On the development side we’ve confirmed Elliott Kember formerly of Carsonified, Michael Brunton-Spall of the Guardian Online, David Singleton (Last.fm), Gareth Rushgrove, Emma Persky from Gumtree and Peter-Paul Koch (Quirksmode).

We look forward to seeing you at DIBI!
