Salary: £25k – £35k depending on experience
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Description:

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, Senior Technical Developer.
 You’ll sit at the heart of a small, new technical team that you will help to recruit and build from the ground up.

So initially it’s you alone and in the longer term future our Client will build around you as, all being well, you’ll grow to ‘Team Leader’.

You’ll be able to display evidence of:

Advanced, *complete e-commerce development (ASP.net)
Advanced, *complete CMS development (ASP.net)
Advanced database development (SQL, MySQL)
Advanced WordPress implementation.
An ability to create fully optimisable (not optimised) websites (CSS, HTML, XHTML).
An ability to create fully DDA compliant websites (CSS, HTML, XHTML)
Other cleverness including using JQuery, Flash Action Scripting and Javascript
A working knowledge of PHP.

*By ‘complete’ we mean that you must be able to complete the tasks perfectly and in their entirety please.

You’ll work alongside our experienced and award winning designers, to exceptionally high quality standards and you’ll be able to work very, very quickly.

Windows built websites must be developed to be hosted in a Medium Trust environment.

You’ll not be designing. The design team will create wonderful website interfaces that you will then build.

You’ll be able to write and deliver against your own clearly structured, understandable (by all) ‘Technical Specifications’. You’ll write the ‘Technical Specifications’ yourself, supported by one of our experienced Account Managers on all projects.

The ‘Technical Specifications’ you write will normally be generated as a result of you taking the lead in face-to-face meetings with clients.
