Clothing brand Bonmarché have rebuilt their website in an effort to attract increasingly web-savvy elderly customers.

The company has turned to search engine optimisation specialist Epiphany Solutions to make sure their online presence is sufficiently prominent to capitalise on this growing market.

Epiphany provided Bonmarché, which caters for over-45s, SEO consultancy during the construction of the new website, which will now be followed by specific SEO campaigns to boost sales of ‘champion’ summer products.

Following the initial launch period, Epiphany will tailor the campaign to ensure key product lines achieve online prominence and boost sales for the retailer.

Donald Angus, Direct Marketing Manager at Bonmarché, is looking forward to seeing the company’s search rankings improve.

He said: “There is no doubt that the mature consumer is turning to the internet as a fast and effective way of purchasing clothes and we look forward to capitalising on this growing trend.”
