Niklas Zennström is a Swedish entrepreneur and investor, best know as the co-founder of Skype and Kazaa.

Born on 16 February 1966, Zenneström studied at Uppsala University in Sweden, graduating with dual degrees in Business Administration and Engineering Physics.

Zenneström’s more recent ventures include co-founding Atomico, a London-based  investment group dealing with fast growing tech companies.

One of Zenneström’s more recent projects, set up together with his business partner Janus Friis, was the launch of social music service Rdio.com.

Zenneström is also known for his philanthropic efforts. Along with his wife, he has founded Zenneström Philanthropies, a charity focusing on climate change, human rights and social entrepreneurship.
