Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £20k – £25k depending on experience

We are delighted to have available a new position within a well established online retail organisation in the centre of Newcastle for a PPC / SEO specialist.

Our Client requires someone with a sound knowledge in SEO and PPC as you will be working with tight PPC budgets in a highly competitive sector so must be able to hit the ground running.

We are looking for someone with a true passion for Search Marketing , who is looking to progress their career in a fast paced and exciting environment. Our Client is keen to develop their PPC and SEO optimisation across all major search engines: Google, yahoo, msn, Bing etc. Therefore your duties will include managing, updating and developing their PPC campaigns as well as site optimisation and link building.

The role requires someone to have strong numerical skills and an analytical brain and there is a strong possibility that the person appointed will grow with the company rapidly, therefore we need someone with drive and ambition.

Ideally but not essentially we need someone who is Google Adwords qualified; however a strong understanding of the principles of SEO for both Google and Yahoo are essential regardless of qualifications. Strong understandings of web analytics are necessary ensuring the conversion is strongly monitored and that budgets are maximised to their full potential. Social Media optimisation is another area our Client would be keen to develop.
