Orange Bus to lead affiliate marketing for dating site

An innovative dating site Mysinglefriend.com has turned to a North East digital agency to improve its marketing online.

Newcastle-based Orange Bus will manage the affiliate scheme for the site which is set to make online dating less of an lonely task as singletons get their friends involved in the search for a date.

The new client announcement comes just weeks after Orange Bus launched its new digital marketing division which is headed by one of the industry’s leading online conversion experts, Tom Fotheringham.

Featuring a Russian meerkat Aleksandr Orlov, the viral ad campaign was praised for making the rather unexciting prospect of comparing insurance prices funny and interesting.

The idea is, as Aleksandr would describe it, ‘simples’. The ad campaign features a frustrated Aleksandr complaining that everyone keeps coming to his website in search of cheap insurance deals.
