PR agency offers discount vouchers on Foursquare

Social media and PR agency Umpf is celebrating its move to new offices and a successful last year with a generous geo-location campaign aimed at their future clients.
The Leeds-based company is offering any future clients a £1,000 discount voucher in return for a Foursquare check-in.
The voucher, redeemable against the agency’s social media services, is available throughout 2011 for anyone who checks in to its new offices on Foursquare, and then Tweets the check in.
Serious privacy concerns surrounding lucrative location-based marketing have alerted the online advertising industry to address the issues by self-regulation.
Brian Kelly, from UKOLN at University of Bath, is planning on using geo-location services to provide an easy way for people to meet and network in an event in July.
