Digital entrepreneurs in the UK have a chance of bidding for 10k worth of funding for innovative consumer trials.
A new scheme set up by the Technology Strategy Board will invest a total of £200,000 into 20 trials across creative market sectors including music, film, TV and publishing.
The high-profile scheme is set to work closely with the leading digital players in the country.

A new initiative has been launched in the North East to develop digital ideas which will improve society.
‘Big Business, Big Society’, is the result of collaboration between ex-Endemol digital media chief Peter Cowley and screen agency Northern Film & Media (NFM).
The agency, who are also working alongside Sunderland City Council, are looking for commercially viable web, mobile and interactive projects which tie in to the notion of the ‘Big Society’.
