This is a challenging role. It involves working to tight deadlines and producing work of a demonstrably high standard with huge emphasis placed on attention to detail. Understanding of and experience with Javascript and JQuery is an advantage.

Codeworks is the Centre of Excellence that supports digital industry in the North East of England. This support is delivered through projects that receive funding from the European Regional Development Fund and from Single Programme grants, both being administered by One North East. Our grant funding imposes certain delivery obligations upon Codeworks including the achievement of milestones, outputs and results, all of which have to be reported to One North East on a quarterly basis.

Following a recent growth in project activities, the company is looking for a full-time Monitoring Executive capable of collating, monitoring and reporting progress against the milestones, outputs and results that Codeworks is contracted to deliver. Employment will be fixed term until 31st March 2011, but capable of being extended subject to continued funding of Codeworks’ activities. The successful applicant will work closely with the company’s finance team, as well as with project managers, and will need to appreciate the importance of detail and accuracy when reporting in a heavily regulated European funding environment.
