newspointBlottr.com recently launched Newspoint, a technology platform which allows publishers to enable their online users to create their own news content.

The company provides a themed and specially styled version of its social news platform to be integrated with each publisher’s site, allowing greater engagement with their respective audiences.

As well as creating their own content, users can contribute to other people’s stories, allowing them to develop over time.

Mail Online attracts over 2m visitors a day

dailymailNew figures keep Mail Online on the top spot as the most popular UK newspaper website.

According to the ABCe report, the site had 2.24 million unique visitors in March.

The second and third place were claimed by Guardian.co.uk with 1.85m and Telegraph.co.uk with 1.56m, as all news websites were reported to have suffered a small drop in traffic in March.
