<p>Assagne hasn&#8217;t published his age but is believed to be 37 years old. Due to his parents&#8217; background in touring theatre, Assagne is said have been enrolled to 37 schools and 6 universities in Australia in his early life. As an adult, he is still reported to be on constant move having lived in places like Sweden, East Africa and Iceland.</p>
<p>Assagne is a regular speaker at news- and hacker-oriented conferences as well as various international news agencies such as Al Jazeera, and CNN. He was the winner of the 2009 Amnesty International Media Award (New Media) for exposing extrajudicial assassinations in Kenya.</p>

<p>We are looking for an experienced software engineer and a project manager to join our Client’s development team in Sunderland. This is a new role within a fast-growing technologically advanced business.</p>
<p>Our Client’s multitouch platform is written mainly in C++ using OpenGL and there are API bindings in Flash/Flex and server based elements written in a combination of PHP and shell scripts. They want to expand this platform to include a number of web based services , including remote application deployment and control, electronic point of sale integration, processing transactions, remote administration among other things, and a web infrastructure for users to access it.</p>

•    Excellent relational database skills with experience of designing and implementing scalable database architectures<br />
•    Preferably Microsoft qualified<br />
•    Exposure to .NET 2.0, 3.0 or 3.5 and SQL Server 2005 an advantage<br />
•    A self-starter, who loves a challenge, is driven to succeed and is perhaps most importantly a team player.<br />
•    You will be proactive, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised.<br />
•    You will have a proven track record of support and development, and exceptional technical skills.</p>
