New photo-tagging tool means extra cash for publishers

New image-tagging technology will allow publishers to connect viewers with the contents of photographs, sending them to shopping portals or other information online.
Using Stipple‘s Pipeline, publishers tag items within their photos and give the user the opportunity to go on and buy a dress or a watch, for example, which is featured in the image.

A Swedish marketing agency, Forsman and Bodenfors, has experimented with an innovative use of social media.
